Growth Mindset
At Lincoln Hubbard we encourage the idea of a growth mindset. To put it simply, growth mindset means that we view our learning and progress as another way we learn and grow everyday. We aren't good or not good at math, or we aren't good or bad readers. Instead, we are growing and navigating how to become better at what we are working on. That being said, it isn't that we aren't good at something, it is that we aren't good at it YET! This is called the power of YET!
Please remind and encourage your child that they are working hard, doing the best they can, and with hardwork and determination will only get better in time. Here are some words of encouragement to try and use with your child:
